An example of our Bespoke Services

Following a recent site audit we suggested a new way of site emptying 34% Ammonia from a 200 m section of piping that was elevated 5 m above ground.

Our client was going to attach pressurised nitrogen canisters to the line and blow the ammonia out and end up with pressurised ammonia canisters at the end. This would have proven to be very difficult to do in practice and also would have been very expensive.

We suggested using a Vacuum tanker to connect to one end and attach a 1000 litre container of water at the other end… thus you suck the ammonia out into a tanker and then the 1000 litres of water would flush the line out.

This plan worked perfectly and the lines are now available for maintenance – all at a reduced cost.
