Non Hazardous Waste Service
Managing Your Non Hazardous Waste Disposal
Non Hazardous Waste Disposal is an often overlooked service. We all appreciate the legislation regarding Hazardous Waste and WEEE, but often just dispose of the rest in a skip and let it go to landfill. Here at A1 Chemical Waste Management Ltd we don’t like things going to landfill unless they really have to.
Identifying your non hazardous waste
The easiest way to classify non-hazardous waste is to simply say that it is everything that isn’t hazardous! Whilst this may seem an obvious statement, it is the breaking it down into sub sections that A1 Chemical Waste Management Ltd can help your company with.
Recycling different types of non hazardous waste means that certain products will go to one recycling facility, whilst others go to another. Our first task is to establish what items you have for disposal on a regular basis, and organise for specific waste containers for each of them. Food waste would be separated from plastic bottles and soiled rags. Once this has been established, the management and collection of your waste becomes a much simpler task.
Typical Waste Types
Collection of your non-hazardous waste
Once we have established your non-hazardous waste items, we will arrange a collection date and time to collect the waste from your site. One of our ADR trained drivers, in a licensed waste collection vehicle, will arrive at your premises and to safely load the waste.
Disposal of non hazardous waste
After completion of your paperwork, our ADR driver will take your waste to a specialist waste disposal facility. From here the recycling process starts, meaning there is a little less waste going straight into landfill – which is fantastic for the environment.
